Konzert: The Grasping Straw

Live haben wir das übrigens laut in Erinnerung. Psychedelisch und mit Kunst-Background (allein schon die tollen Cover und Plakate!), vor allem aber ist es Eines: lustvolle, Energie-geladene Rockmusik. How Will i Grow war der Titel einer The Grasping Straw Single, und wir möchten meinen: nach zwölf Jahren Bandgeschichte hat die Formation es herausgefunden.

Viel Vergnügen - nach sechs Jahren zurück auf der Hafen 2 Bühne: The Grasping Straws.

 

Psychedelic art rock. The Grasping Straws have been consistently performing in and around New York City since 2012. In July 2014, the group went on their first national tour with fellow NYC-based artist Cannonball Statman. The band's founder, Mallory, has since gone on to tour Europe, Canada and more of the US with different iterations of The Grasping Straws to support the release of the band's debut album. The Grasping Straws continue to tour and perform locally around NYC, while working on writing and recording new material.

In the winter of 2020, The Grasping Straws collaborated with experimental video and performance artist Erica Schreiner to release a music video that was featured as part of the G Biennale and Art All Night film festivals.
